Quality Software. Initially focussed on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, HITS-UK designed the first software of its kind in the UK that gave accurate and consistent data. COPDsoft™ was created to carry out a full assessment of COPD in a patient whilst COPDaudit™ gave reports to the health professionals and support industries. In 2007, HITS-UK created COPDfast™ which allowed a doctor to assess a patient's COPD severity within a matter of a few minutes. This has also been made available on a Pocket PC running Windows Mobile 5 or 6 allowing home visits or professional field assessments to be carried out with the same reliability and consistency as that running on a laptop or desktop computer.
